Abstract

The research dealt with the effect of reduction on copper oxide in high-temperature glass, as the problem of the research, the possibility of obtaining copper red glass in a reduced burning atmosphere. In addition to clarifying the effect of reduction on the pottery and the glass surface, a downdraft gas furnace which can be well controlled to achieve a reduction atmosphere was used.
