Abstract

Plants have occupied an important place in the religious conception because they for man important element in the story of creation. In fact, palm trees, fig and olive have been the most considerable trees because human put on them the meanings of health, happiness, mirth, fertility, safety, peace and many others high expectations. This study aims to search the symbolic meanings of these plants in the religious conception to find out their connotations in the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious texts.
