Abstract

This study is titled Displacement in the Book Entitled Dogs’ Priority over Many of Those Who Wear Clothes which is represented in the introduction and the conclusion of the research. The introduction is entitled the concept of displacement which is defined in terms of language, terminology and a historical overview in Arab and Western thought. Displacement is divided into semantic displacement, syntactic displacement, and musical displacement. the study ends with some conclusions.
