This research examines the deletion of the noun in Surat Al-Baqarah between the heritage and text linguistics, with a preface to study the deletions and guides in the light of the rhetorical heritage, grammar, and textual linguistics. The study deals with the deletion of the noun because of the many examples of this type in Surat Al-Baqarah, and the need for specification for methodological reasons. The study has chosen deletion examples that lead to the textual harmony. It has also shown the importance of deletion in the consistency and coherence of the text and its role in achieving brevity, while engaging the reader to the understanding of the text.
