Spatial and temporal variation of the abundance of water resources (rains) and impact on the variation of wheat and barley cultivation in Badra district

Abstract

The study area consists of three administrative units: Badra district, Jassan district and Zurbatiya district, where the cultivated areas of wheat crop for the season 2017-2018 amounted to (2460-3700-2400 dunums respectively) and the production quantity (500-900-450) tons respectively And the amount of rain in the stations of Badra and Ilam Iran (241.53-379.82) mm, respectively. The area planted with wheat crop for the season 2018-2019 was the largest area of ​​the previous season, where the cultivated areas (2860-3900-2600 dunums respectively) and the amount of production reached (650-980-620) tons respectively, accompanied by an increase in the amount of rainfall In this season, it reached (283.42-410.43) mm respectively. The cultivated areas of barley crop for the season 2017-2018 were (4600-4200-3000) dunums respectively, and the amount of production reached (900-800-3000) tons, respectively. With the amount of rain reached at Badra station (241.53) mm and the Ilam station in Iran (379.82) mm. The production of Baghlat (1089-950-780) tons respectively, which was accompanied by an increase in the amount of rain (283.42-410.43) mm respectively.
