Manifestation of The Religious Behavior of the Inhabitants of Urban Centers:A Field Study in Mosul City

Abstract
The community of Mosul city, like other Iraqi cities, was known for its true commitment to the teachings of the religion which they belong. However, a group of factors - most notably urban - combined to negatively affect the behavior of society in general and religious behavior in particular, and reinforced the spread of many forms of religiosity, including outward religiosity. In the behavior of some individuals to achieve narrow (material, social, psychological, and political) interests, which led to an adverse reaction by many members of the Mosul community towards religious people or those who speak religion when dealing with them Based on this problem, the researchers adopted the descriptive methodology and the social survey methodology by the sample method in order to reach the objectives of the research. outwardly religious behavior), which are the same conclusions that the researchers reached in the field study, and accordingly the researchers put forward a set of recommendations to solve this problem, the most important of which is carrying out awareness campaigns by the competent authorities to define the importance of religion and its content and distinguish between it and outwardly religious behavior.
