Mathematical Linguistics in the Iraqi Universities: Obstacles and Challenges

Abstract

This paper deals with the status of mathematical linguistics in Iraqi universities and it examines the epistemological nature that governs Iraqi linguistic research. Therefore, the concepts of obstacle and challenges are present in the structure of this paper by investigating the issues related to the structure of the Iraqi academic mind as it is established in the Iraqi universities. It tries to bridge the gaps that prevent the development of this field.
